This blog is for my 365 project, which was started on ??th January 2011.
For those unfamiliar with the concept: a 365 project is when you take a photo every day for a year. Some people have different themes to their project, e.g., self portraits, things to be grateful for. Mine is far more broad. I’ve undertaken this project in order to practice photography (hoe else do you improve, but to practice?), to learn more about my camera, and to learn more about photography itself.
Each photo in my project should either signify something that happened on that day, should teach me something (about photography, my camera, me… any lessons are good really), or just be a photo that I like.
There are very few rules to this project, otherwise I know I would never complete it! The only real rule is that I take a photo on each day; I don’t need to process or blog that photo on the day it was taken, but if I manage to do so that’d be good (at the time I’m starting this I am several months behind in blogging the photos!). If I happen to break the one rule of taking a photo a day, whether it be through illness or forgetfulness, then I give myself leave to post a photo taken on another day when I took multiple photos.
I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I have so far!
